Konstantin Vassilev

Konstantin Vassilev is the founder and Managing Partner of Vassilev & Partners Law Firm. He leads the strategic development of the firm, the growth of its client base, and the expansion of its partner network in Bulgaria and abroad.

His practice focuses on restructuring and insolvency, corporate and financial advisory, international projects, foreign investments, and the establishment or transfer of business operations in Bulgaria. Konstantin works with Bulgarian and international clients on market entry, business structuring, legal and commercial risk management, negotiations, transactions, and dispute resolution. He also has significant experience in procedural representation in complex litigation matters involving substantial financial interests and strategic importance for clients.

As Managing Partner, he plays a leading role in attracting clients, developing strategic partnerships, and positioning the firm as a coordinator of comprehensive legal, tax, and accounting services. His approach is focused on building long-term professional relationships and delivering practical solutions aligned with both the legal framework and the client’s business objectives.

Before founding the law firm, Konstantin gained experience as legal counsel in the Supervisory Board and Legal Department of a leading Bulgarian commercial bank. He also worked with the corporate teams of Clifford Chance in Frankfurt am Main and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Düsseldorf, where he developed a practical understanding of advising international companies and cross-border projects.

Konstantin graduated in law with distinction from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Institute for Law and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt. He has successfully passed the examination of the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice for registration as an insolvency administrator. He has also been elected as a disciplinary judge at the Sofia Bar Association.
