1 December 2015

According to the changes the information on the credit indebtedness of customers in the Central Credit Register shall be filed and received by three categories of institutions only: i) banks and branches of foreign banks licensed by the National Bank, as well as branches of foreign banks licensed in a European Member State; ii) payment and electronic money institutions; and iii) credit institutions that carry out services, such as financial leasing, guarantee transactions or acquisitions of loan receivables, as well as other forms of financing, such as factoring or forfeiting. The foreign financial institutions are now excluded from the latter group, persuant to the amendments on Ordinance № 22 from 2009 on the Central Credit Register.
