“Time for Good News” from the ETL GLOBAL Conference in Warsaw

Vassilev & Partners Law Firm was represented by Konstantin Vassilev and Denitza Vassileva at the ETL GLOBAL International Conference 2026, held in Warsaw on 1 and 2 October.

The conference is the most important annual event in the international network’s calendar. This year, it brought together around 250 participants from more than 40 countries and five continents under the theme “Time for Good News”. The programme focused on the achievements of ETL GLOBAL members, the continued development of the network and opportunities for collaboration on international projects.

On the first day, the plenary session introduced new members of the network and showcased successful projects and ongoing initiatives from different countries. The meetings that followed provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners and establish new professional contacts.

The second day was dedicated to the specialist working groups, which are an essential part of the practical collaboration within ETL GLOBAL. Denizsa Vassileva participated as co-lead of the Payroll Working Group and also joined the Transfer Pricing Working Group. Konstantin Vassilev took part in the M&A and Real Estate Working Groups.

The sessions provided a forum for in-depth discussions on current practical matters, the exchange of experience across jurisdictions and the exploration of specific opportunities for future collaboration. Meetings of this kind are particularly valuable when working on cross-border projects, where legal, tax, financial and operational considerations need to be addressed in a coordinated manner.

Vassilev & Partners’ participation in the conference is a natural extension of the firm’s work on matters with an international dimension. Our partnerships within ETL GLOBAL enable us to work directly with legal, tax, accounting and business advisers in different countries and to provide coordinated support both to Bulgarian clients operating abroad and to international companies conducting or planning to establish business activities in Bulgaria.

The conference concluded with an evening event at MOXO, located in the historic Norblin Factory complex in Warsaw. It brought two intensive days of professional discussions, new ideas and international exchange to a memorable close.
